The Role and the TeamAs a Senior Sales Engineer in the Data Security Group (DSG), you will be a trusted advisor to the Specialist Account Manager you are paired with and to current and future customers. You will focus on Data Security and Insider Risk, delivering People-Centric solutions. This role is located in Brazil.
Your day-to-day- Drive high levels of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the ATG Sales Specialists & Account Teams to develop and execute targeted account penetration strategies
- Build trust and rapport with customers and prospects, and be their main technical contact throughout the process
- Work with customers/prospects on technical discovery, planning, execution and wrap-up of Proof-of-Concept (POC) and Production Evaluations
- Design and champion complex People-Centric Security solutions across the Data Security portfolio, including Data Loss Prevention (email, endpoint, cloud and web), Insider Risk and Data Security Posture Management
- Occasionally assist in professional services deployments, technical training, and present at or attend industry seminars and trade shows
- Collaborate with Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product Management to ensure effective operation and customer satisfaction
- Provide customer insights to Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering
- Develop and deliver training presentations to peers and account managers
- Contribute to internal documentation and training
- Help develop solutions to common challenges and establish processes within the team and broader organization
- Minimum 5+ years of proven experience selling as a Sales Engineer or related roles, ideally in Data Security and Insider Risk
- Good understanding of the cybersecurity market landscape and competition
- Expertise in core security solutions such as Enterprise DLP, CASB, Insider Threat Management, Endpoint Security, Isolation, and DSPM
- Strong understanding of the sales process and the role of a sales engineer
- Excellent technical presentation and communication skills
- Ability to present the Big Picture and architect solutions to address business issues
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- CISSP or similar certification preferred but not required
- Trilingual: Portuguese, English, and Spanish
- Travel required
