Job Title: Sail Point Developer Job Location Remote / Hybrid / Onsite (as applicable) Experience 6–10+ years overall IAM experience 4–8+ years hands-on Sail Point development Job Description Summary We are seeking a Sail Point Developer with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Sail Point (Identity IQ and/or Identity Now). The role is focused on custom development, integrations, workflows, and automation , not platform administration or access provisioning support. The ideal candidate will work closely with security, application, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable IAM solutions aligned with enterprise security and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement Sail Point IAM solutions (Identity IQ and/or Identity Now) Develop and customize workflows, rules, connectors, and lifecycle events Build and maintain custom integrations between Sail Point and target systems (REST, SOAP, JDBC, LDAP, AD, Azure AD, etc.) Develop custom provisioning logic , aggregation rules, and identity correlation logic Implement access request, approval, and certification processes Customize Sail Point UI components, forms, and reports as required Develop and maintain policies, roles, entitlements, and governance models Support user lifecycle management (Joiner–Mover–Leaver) Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Sail Point solutions Participate in IAM solution design discussions and technical architecture reviews Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer Collaborate with Dev Ops and security teams for deployments and upgrades Support Sail Point upgrades and migrations (e.g., IIQ versions or IIQ → Identity Now) Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with Sail Point Identity IQ and/or Identity Now Proficiency in Java, Bean Shell, Java Script Experience developing Sail Point rules (Aggregation, Provisioning, Correlation, Validation, Certification) Strong experience with Sail Point workflows Experience with REST/SOAP APIs , JSON, XML Knowledge of IAM concepts : authentication, authorization, RBAC, access governance Experience integrating with: Active Directory / Azure AD LDAP Databases (JDBC) Cloud and enterprise applications Understanding of certifications, access reviews, So D policies Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Nice-to-Have Skills Sail Point certifications (Identity IQ Engineer, Identity Now Engineer) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience with Dev Ops tools (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD) Knowledge of security standards (ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR) Experience with PAM integrations (Cyber Ark, Beyond Trust) Scripting knowledge (Python, Power Shell) What This Role Is NOT ❌ Not a Sail Point Administrator role ❌ Not limited to user provisioning or access requests ❌ Not a helpdesk or L2/L3 IAM support role This is a core Sail Point development and engineering role .
