Job Title: SailPoint DeveloperJob LocationRemote / Hybrid / Onsite (as applicable)Experience6–10+ years overall IAM experience4–8+ years hands-on SailPoint developmentJob Description SummaryWe are seeking a SailPoint Developer with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using SailPoint (IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow). The role is focused on custom development, integrations, workflows, and automation, not platform administration or access provisioning support.The ideal candidate will work closely with security, application, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable IAM solutions aligned with enterprise security and compliance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement SailPoint IAM solutions (IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow)Develop and customize workflows, rules, connectors, and lifecycle eventsBuild and maintain custom integrations between SailPoint and target systems (REST, SOAP, JDBC, LDAP, AD, Azure AD, etc.)Develop custom provisioning logic, aggregation rules, and identity correlation logicImplement access request, approval, and certification processesCustomize SailPoint UI components, forms, and reports as requiredDevelop and maintain policies, roles, entitlements, and governance modelsSupport user lifecycle management (Joiner–Mover–Leaver)Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of SailPoint solutionsParticipate in IAM solution design discussions and technical architecture reviewsProvide technical documentation and knowledge transferCollaborate with DevOps and security teams for deployments and upgradesSupport SailPoint upgrades and migrations (e.g., IIQ versions or IIQ → IdentityNow)Required Technical SkillsStrong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNowProficiency in Java, BeanShell, JavaScriptExperience developing SailPoint rules (Aggregation, Provisioning, Correlation, Validation, Certification)Strong experience with SailPoint workflowsExperience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XMLKnowledge of IAM concepts: authentication, authorization, RBAC, access governanceExperience integrating with:Active Directory / Azure ADLDAPDatabases (JDBC)Cloud and enterprise applicationsUnderstanding of certifications, access reviews, SoD policiesExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsNice-to-Have SkillsSailPoint certifications (IdentityIQ Engineer, IdentityNow Engineer)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD)Knowledge of security standards (ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR)Experience with PAM integrations (CyberArk, BeyondTrust)Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell)What This Role Is NOT Not a SailPoint Administrator role Not limited to user provisioning or access requests Not a helpdesk or L2/L3 IAM support roleThis is a core SailPoint development and engineering role.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and with cross-functional teamsSecurity-first mindset
