We are looking for a Group Manager with passion to lead both technology and people. To develop technology for sustainable and pioneering electronic and software products and services for future transport solutions. At the same time, develop our people, making this area a great place for people to grow.

As Engineering Group Manager, you will lead a team of talented engineers working on Thermal Management at Vehicle Technology Curitiba . This department is responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining an optimized cab climate and vehicle cooling & heating systems for all types of propulsion installations to all truck brands within the Volvo Group. We take full ownership of the products we engineer, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Innovation is at the heart of what we do.

In this position, you will report to the Director of Vehicle Technology Curitiba and you will work in close proximity to the Global Technology Manager, collaborating with Gothenburg & Bangalore, as well as Greensboro and Lyon sites.

• Bachelor's or Master´s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Control and Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Solid Experience in product development within the automotive industry
• Experience of developing complex multi-domain systems (thermal / SW development / HW development / simulation / verification / validation)
• Experience of working in a global environment with several sites and external partners
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Meritorious to have:

• Previous leadership experience with direct reports is a differential
• Experience in the field of Thermal Management engineering (ICE-BEV-Fuel cell drivelines, cab climate)
• Experience from supplier management is beneficial.
