Backend Software Engineer Position This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop and maintain robust backend systems for our innovative access control solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of backend technologies including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Java, and Kotlin. About the Role: The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain backend applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Java, and Kotlin. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems. Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current backend technologies and best practices. Participate in code reviews, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, helping them navigate technical challenges and grow in their careers. Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 6+ years of professional experience in backend development. Proven experience with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC. Familiarity with Git versioning systems. Proficiency in English for listening, reading and writing.
