In 2020 we launched the Flavored Alcohol Beverage (FAB) brand Topo Chico Hard Seltzer in Latin America. Due to the category growth, we are expanding our product innovation and looking for pioneers that know how to expand their thinking and bring new ideas to life.
In this role you will be responsible for leading growth agenda with bottler/region, aligning the local/regional strategy and plans with "Bottlers" for the FAB (Flavored Alcohol Beverage) category.
This is an exciting opportunity for a **Director Market Development Management BR - FEMSA** you will act as an intrapreneur to build and lead a "start-up" in Latin America with the resources and backing of The Coca-Cola Company.
**What You'll Do For Us**
- Manages the day to day operations to ensure business results in Bottler/Territories.
- Leads strategic, operational and commercial projects involving the "bottler".
- Align Alcobev/FAB(Flavored Alcohol Beverage) guidelines with bottlers.
- Guides and collaborates with bottler in the decision-making process involved in key areas such as Revenue Growth Management, budget and other commercial initiatives.
- Continuous finding of new ways to identify regional market opportunities, generating value across the System in alignment with the BU strategic priorities
- Build value-based relationship with bottlers around Alcobev/FAB (Flavored Alcohol Beverage).
- Report bottler alignment to Coca Cola guidelines for FAB (Flavored Alcohol Beverage) and Alcobev (e.g., Distribution agreements)
- Business monitoring through periodic performance reports
- Develop specific Alcobev capabilities in bottlers.
- Define the local/regional strategy and develop the plan to maximize the business opportunity with the Bottler´s Senior/Regional.
- Manages the day to day operations of the franchise including marketing, commercial and financial; executes strategies with bottling partners; cooperates with bottlers to ensure local relevance and alignment with overall business; reviews and implements revenue growth opportunities/solutions.
- Align and execute Alcobev and FAB (Flavored Alcohol Beverage) commercial plans in collaboration with the bottler: Lead the execution of Strategic Business Priorities, by empowering Bottler´s Senior/Regional Leadership Teams.
- Act with discipline to ensure decision making and results tracking to effective management routines across different levels (Senior, functional, workstreams)
- Deep market understanding to ensure correct decision making and strategy adjustments/improvements as necessary.
- Manages relationships with specific stakeholders i.e. shareholders and senior bottler management.
- Wire with other regions and operations (even international) peers to ensure best practice sharing and alignment.
**Qualifications and Requirements**- 10 - 15 years experience within the Alcohol Industry, desired experience within Coca Cola System.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field is required (Master's or MBA degree is highly preferred)
- Must be fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish is also highly preferred
- Recommended Bottler Marketing or Commercial Strategy Experience and Understanding of retail (Modern, Traditional and On Premise channel).
- Key Knowledge requirements: Strategy, Leadership, problem solving, influencing and Strategic Communications, team management
