The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats, including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar roles in rapidly growing, security-first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, and is excited to participate in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You will work closely with Cybersecurity/IT peers and key stakeholder teams (Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR). You will be customer-facing and the first line of support; own support and provide an outstanding experience to employees via Slack, Jira, etc. You will be proficient with macOS in an enterprise environment, troubleshoot with the terminal, and procure and deliver technology equipment. You will own the onboarding experience for new employees and the tech retrieval process for outgoing employees. You will design, test, build, and document programs, policies, and tools, contributing improvements to existing knowledge bases. You will support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.) and manage Mac endpoint/mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM, Jamf). You will contribute to improvements on IDP and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta), document solutions, and automate repetitive tasks. You will manage, respond to, and resolve critical incidents as needed, and work on projects over sprints with Jira and agile methods. You will set and pursue objectives and key results aligned with team and company goals. What You Bring to Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite. Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, Python, etc. Experience with open source tools (Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc.). Ability to integrate SSO into Okta and create workflows in Okta; working with APIs to integrate systems. Experience providing remote support across multiple countries/time zones; handling hardware shipping and customs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly and compassionately. Strong writing skills for tickets, email, and Slack communications. Understanding of security concepts, PGP, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching), and OSI model troubleshooting. Self-management and the ability to scope projects, priorities, and work across multiple teams. Nice to Have / Culture Fit Familiarity with AWS; GAM and command-line tools experience. Jamf, Okta, Google Workspace certifications. Ability to thrive in a startup/tech environment, with adaptability and resilience.
