The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats, including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar roles in rapidly growing, security-first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, while also helping end users in need of assistance. You will participate in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You will be adaptable to the ever-changing landscape of the corporate infrastructure environment and work closely with Cybersecurity/IT peers and key stakeholder teams, including Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. This role reports to the Director of IT. The Role You will be customer-facing and the first line of support; you own support and you are passionate about providing an outstanding support experience to our employees via Slack, Jira, and other channels. We are predominantly Mac-focused and you should be proficient at troubleshooting, using the terminal, and making macOS work in the enterprise. You will be responsible for procuring and delivering technology equipment and will own the onboarding experience for all new employees as well as the retrieval process for departing employees. You will design, test, build, and document programs, policies and tools, and contribute improvements to existing knowledge. You will support and manage SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect, Okta, Jira, and more. You will work with Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM, Jamf, etc.). You will contribute to improvements on IDP and SSO tools (Google Workspace, Okta, etc.) and document solutions, create help articles, and automate routine tasks. You will manage, respond to, and fix critical incidents and issues through to completion. You will balance help desk tickets with project work (agile practices, Jira, sprints) and align your objectives with team and company goals. What You Bring To Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite. Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, python, etc. Ability to utilize open source tools such as Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc. Ability to integrate SSO into Okta and create workflows in Okta. Experience with APIs and integrating systems. Experience providing remote support across multiple countries and time zones; familiar with shipping and receiving hardware and customs. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all media; ability to convey ideas clearly and help non-technical users without loss of patience. Strong writing skills for tickets, email, and Slack; clear, friendly, concise communication sensitive to different cultures. A mindset to provide a magical experience for others and a security-conscious approach (PGP awareness). Solid networking fundamentals and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching) and methodical OSI-model troubleshooting. Ability to self-manage, scope projects, and work across multiple teams; strong organizational and task-management skills. Comfort with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete data. Nice To Haves Some familiarity with AWS; prior use is helpful but certifications are not required. Experience using GAM and command-line efficiencies. Jamf certifications, Okta certifications, Google Workspace certifications.
