If you're passionate about tackling difficult problems with direct and thoughtful communication and team first mentality, we may be the right place for you.About The RoleAs a Senior QA Engineer with an emphasis on data and analytics, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our quality assurance frameworks, actively contributing to the delivery of team goals and features. You will own and design test automation and efficiency tools for our QA and Product teams, working internally with our data and analytics teams. You will also partner with our QA and Development leaders to identify the best opportunities and technology for our projects and contribute towards the architecture and tests suite to reach our quality assurance goals.This role offers opportunities for growth, research & innovation, and having your ideas heard and making a meaningful impact.What You’ll AchievePartner with the Staff QA Engineer and contribute to our central test framework, working with QA and Dev leaders in defining ongoing requirements. Contributing with ideas that enable tech innovations within the team. Contribute to building a suite of automated tests for internal tooling. Be part of creating our initial core test suites and have an opportunity to define quality from the early stages. Contribute to the development and research of our data and analytics teams. Provide support and maintenance of our test architecture to the needs and requests of the game and engineering teams. Contribute to defining tooling and solutions that serve as best practices for QA automation efforts. Be part of the team defining the overall Fortis QA advanced test strategy for all projects. What You’ll Need To Be SuccessfulProficiency in programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Python) and experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) and NodeJS. Experience automating integrity, schema and ETL checks. Able to Validate end-to-end data flows and BI outputs with analytics tools such as Looker, AppFigures, Singular (or similar). Define & monitor quality rules in Datadog, Intrinsic, BugSnag and similar. Contribution to building or extending automation frameworks using libraries such as Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO (WDIO). Knowledge of AWS cloud services, including S3, EC2, and messaging services. Familiarity with RDBMS such as Postgres, preferably with the ability to write SQL queries. Familiarity with MongoDB Atlas would be an asset. Strong understanding of API contract testing. Good understanding of Linux environment and CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Experience working with infrastructure, DevOps, and orchestration tools like Terraform & Terragrunt would be a plus. Demonstrated ability to work embedded within a team to identify their technical needs and goals. Proven ownership and autonomy, driving quality initiatives and projects. Strong verbal and written English skills required for effective collaboration within a global team.
