At Halaxia Hire, we are supporting the search for a " Sr. Foreign Trade Specialist " on behalf of a leading multinational company in solutions for the automotive industry.
Position Objective: This position will play a key role in managing relationships with local and international suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimizing the supply chain processes associated with the importation, storage, and distribution of vehicles and spare parts.
Responsibilities :

  • Oversee end-to-end import and export operations.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Lead quotation analysis, negotiation, and follow-up on local and international purchases.
  • Evaluate and develop logistics providers to ensure service quality and cost-efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory traceability, order tracking, and stock levels.
  • Supervise national logistics operations and storage conditions.
  • Conduct physical inspections of inventories and manage claims with suppliers or manufacturers.
  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives and participate in operational planning for purchasing.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing costs, lead times, and quality standards.

Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Economics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in foreign trade operations, logistics, and procurement (preferably within the manufacturing, automotive, agricultural, or heavy equipment sectors).
  • Solid understanding of national and international logistics flows.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced English – both spoken and written (mandatory).

Work Modality
  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Hybrid scheme: 3 on-site days, 2 remote days.
  • Location: GBA Norte.
