Business Communications Manager for WhatsApp in Latin America

We're looking for a skilled Communications Manager to lead our business message communications efforts in Latin America. WhatsApp has become the go-to platform for organizations to connect with customers, and this role will focus on sharing compelling stories to increase awareness about this shift in consumer behavior.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute data-driven communications strategies on business messaging topics across Latin America, leveraging media relations and social channels.
  2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales and Marketing, to design and deliver communications campaigns that support Meta's strategic objectives.
  3. Counsel internal stakeholders on media engagement strategy and social channels.
Key Qualifications
  1. 7+ years of experience in communications for a technology company, B2B enterprise, or agency.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or equivalent experience.
  3. Proven ability to distill complex business concepts into clear language for non-expert audiences.
  4. Experience creating messaging materials and partnering with external parties.
  5. Strong proficiency in media relations and social channels.
  6. Professional proficiency in English and Portuguese.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience working on global media campaigns.
  2. Experience developing narratives for enterprise and business-to-business clients.
  3. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  4. Demonstrated track record of success in fast-paced environments, with strong judgment and negotiation skills.
  5. Basic working proficiency in Spanish.
