DevOps Engineer

Join Our DevOps Engineering Team at Modus Create We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with experience in modern DevOps tools and cloud infrastructure to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive strategic consulting and full lifecycle product development. You will play a pivotal role in designing, executing, and supporting complex infrastructure and automation projects.

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure in AWS.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications in Kubernetes.
• Use Atlantis to automate Terraform workflows from pull requests, supporting collaboration and code review practices.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and adaptability to evolving tech landscapes.
• Independent ownership of tasks with the ability to mentor others inside Modus and clients' teams.

• Experience: Senior DevOps Engineer with 7+ years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure in AWS.
• AWS: Deep experience building, scaling, and securing AWS infrastructure.
• Terraform: Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Kubernetes (K8s): Proven expertise deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters.
• Atlantis: Experience automating Terraform workflows via Atlantis from pull requests.
• GitHub Actions: Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Cloud infrastructure: Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), virtualization and containerization, monitoring and automation.
• Communication: Strong communication to collaborate with diverse teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solving & adaptability: Excellent problem-solving abilities; ability to learn new tools and methodologies; independent work and ownership; teamwork.
