Staff Product Designer, Experimentation Platform

The Experimentation Platform team is responsible for powering one of DoorDash’s most critical capabilities: enabling every team to make confident, data-driven decisions through high-quality, trustworthy experiments. We build the core systems, guardrails, and workflows that support thousands of experiments annually, ensuring statistical rigor, metric integrity, and smooth self-service for product, engineering, and business teams. Our mission is to democratize experimentation at scale making it fast, reliable, and safe to learn from every customer interaction while driving innovation in areas like unified metrics, advanced statistical methods, winsorization guardrails, diff-in-diff, and experiment quality monitoring. You report to our Head of Internal Tools Design, in our Design Foundations team in our Product Design org. This role is onsite, from our São Paulo office. You understand that your work ultimately contributes to the top line and bottom line of the business. You have 7+ years of experience as a product/UX designer in a relevant industry. You have deep technical fluency, enabling productive collaboration with engineers on platform infrastructure, APIs, and system design. You enjoy working in ambiguous problem spaces, and bring clarity to your teams through your mastery of the design process. You value high-quality well crafted visual design and obsess over the details. You are self-aware, curious, and humble. You have strong experience with multi-sided marketplaces and internal workflow tools, especially designing dashboards, admin systems, and other complex B2B products.
