Responsibilities

What you'll do

Our Managing Partners are responsible for sustaining and growing Gartner Consulting's relationship with a defined portfolio of Gartner clients. As a Managing Partner, you will advise clients at the highest strategic level on both big-picture and tactical matters, showcasing how technology enables a wide range of business outcomes. You will collaborate with Expert Partners and others to bring the best solutions to our clients.

Qualifications

What you'll need

  • Experience within a well-regarded management consultancy in a project delivery and sales capacity supporting state and local government clients
  • A consistent track record of leading people and building high-performing teams that leverage technology to drive mission-critical priorities for public sector clients
  • Deep expertise and demonstrated success supporting state and local government clients across Texas
  • Experience working with multiple IT solutions
  • Ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds toward a common goal
  • Commitment to the success of your team and willingness to provide constructive feedback when needed
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the ability to develop solutions and strategies to solve client problems; adapt Gartner frameworks and methodologies to address client challenges
  • Ability to be hands-on and manage multiple client priorities simultaneously
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred

  • Coachable and open to best practices and feedback as a path to continuous improvement
  • A consistently high achiever with perseverance, humility, and a positive outlook
  • Proven track record in achieving or exceeding revenue targets
  • Ability to travel to client sites as necessary

Associates are expected to travel to client sites and meetings as required by business needs or specific engagement requirements, ensuring we deliver exceptional service where it matters most. What we offer

Salary and compensation: A reasonable base salary range is 184,000 USD - 248,000 USD, with actual salaries varying by factors such as education, experience, and location. In addition to base salary, employees participate in an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. We offer comprehensive benefits including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, stock purchase programs, and more.
