Johnson & Johnson Technology Services is recruiting for a Fellow, Cybersecurity Engineering reporting to the Director of Global Network Security. This position is based out of Raritan, NJ or São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil.
This role will be responsible for security service definition, engineering, architecture, and the lifecycle / governance of one or more security products. The responsibilities include engineering of solutions leveraging cloud-based Network Security, Security Service Edge (SSE) / Zero-Trust Network Access, next-generation Firewalls, and Intrusion Prevention technologies (including Cloud-Delivered Security-as-a-Service "SecaaS"), and requires specialized technical knowledge and skills.
Fellow Cybersecurity Engineering will collaborate with the architecture & strategy group on investigating emerging technologies, participating in performing POCs/POV, establishing security controls and operational processes of security related products and technologies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the design, engineering and deployment of security technology platforms/services. Establish cross-product technology integration working across different teams when required. Responsible for the lifecycle, technical roadmap, value metrics, and use case patterns for services and products.
- Review emerging security technologies, new engineering techniques, and assess opportunities to implement.
- Serve as a senior engineer on priority initiatives, deployments, projects using our standard toolsets and services. Continue professional development through technical training and be recognized as a Fellow Cybersecurity Engineer by internal groups. Lead/participate in cross-service design and technology product reviews with peers.
- Define best practices for security products, standards, and quality metrics.
- Interact with cross functional teams, including Security Architecture, other technology services groups to ensure complete delivery of solutions.
- Responsible for talent development, recruiting, and planning for technical skills within the service.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required
- 14+ years of related IT experience preferably in large enterprises
- Requires a strong understanding of architecture, engineering of Cloud-based Network Security, next-generation Firewalls, Internet protocols
- Ability to establish strong relationships with peer security engineering teams, and an understanding of automation / development methodologies.
- Any combination of business process, technology expertise and/or product management knowledge is required.
- Strong understanding of service engineering, architecture, delivery, and the full lifecycle of service management
- Strong understanding of the development of security engineering teams/talent
- Understanding of frameworks, SLDC processes, component design, APIs, and construction of highly reusable solution sets
- Strong understanding of Security Service Edge (SSE) / Zero-Trust Network Access and/or Secure Services Information Security and/or Network Engineering experience, preferably within a global, regulated, healthcare industry
- Must be analytical, able to tackle complex problems and present recommendations to management effectively
- Experience with vendor management and product technology roadmaps
- Possess good planning, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Experience leading global projects and geographically diverse teams
- With little supervision, must be able to define, shape, and drive projects to completion while effectively collaborating strategically with others
- Must be able to mentor, and review technical deliverables
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Must be results driven, a quick learner, and a self-starter with an ability to prioritize and get things done
**Other**:
- This role requires the individual to spend up to 10% of the time in international/domestic travels
