The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats, including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated prior success in similar roles in rapidly growing, security-first environments. The role emphasizes automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, while helping end users in need of assistance. What You’ll Do You will be a participant in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You will work closely with Cybersecurity/IT peers and key stakeholder teams, including Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. You will be customer-facing and the first line of support, owning the support experience for employees via tools like Slack and Jira. You will procure and deliver technology equipment and manage tech onboarding and offboarding. You will design, test, build, document programs, policies and tools, and contribute improvements to existing knowledge base. You will support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.) and manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM). You will work on IDP and SSO improvements (GSuite, Okta, etc.), document solutions, and automate busywork. You will manage incidents and priorities, and work on projects over sprints (agile). You will set objectives and key results aligned to team and company goals. What You Bring 7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite. Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, python, etc. Experience with open source tools (Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc.). Experience integrating SSO into Okta and creating workflows in Okta. Experience working with APIs to integrate systems. Remote support across multiple countries/time zones; hardware shipping/receiving and customs familiarity. Excellent written and verbal communication, empathy, and ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Strong documentation and ability to craft helpful articles; comfortable writing in tickets, email, and Slack. Ability to troubleshoot networks and general IT issues; understanding OSI model and TCP/IP fundamentals. Self-management skills to scope projects and prioritize across multiple teams. Nice to Have Some familiarity with AWS. Experience with GAM and command-line interfaces for automation. Jamf, Okta, and Google Workspace certifications.
