**Description**
**General information**
As a key member of the Brazilian legal team, providing legal assistance to all Business Unites will be the core task.
Drive excellence in the analysis and negotiation of contracts and claims by the local legal team.
**Your responsibilities**
- Support all Business Units during the complete contract lifecycle, making sure the Processes and Corporate Regulations are fully complied with.
- Structure, prepare and review contracts, reports and other legal documents
- Provide legal assistance and legal opinions
- Analysis of complex contracts (customers and suppliers)
- Participation in complex negotiations with customers and suppliers
- Resolve legal matters and questions of the Business units and Supporting functions as well, acting as a support cross function.
- Research, guide and protect the company against complexity legal risks
- Guide internal customers and ensure compliance with internal rules and policies
- Provides legal training and awareness for both the business and wider legal team.
**Your background**
**Essential**
- Law degree and proven track record as a fully qualified lawyer with a strong legal background and knowledge in contracts and commercial matters.
- Demonstrable experience in contract negotiation.
- Business-minded and solution oriented. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including team spirit as well as the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proven ability to implement strategic advice.
- Residing in São Paulo/Brazil
- Fluent or Advanced in English
**Desirable**
- Working knowledge of technological tools and solutions used in contract management and reporting.
- Change management skills.
