
Index Sales Specialist

The Index & ESG Sales Specialist is a member of the Americas Client Coverage team working closely with senior sales specialists to secure client interest and purchase of MSCI Index and ESG Products. This person is responsible for facilitating the sales process for MSCI data solutions, focused on the Latin American market and towards all types of institutional investor segments. This person plays a key role in the pre-sales process assisting the sales team in market research and analysis of prospective clients, competitors, and market outlook, as well as in prospecting for new clients, actively engaging and promoting our products in the region.
The position requires excellent organization and communication skills, comfort communicating with internal and external stakeholders, understanding of the investment industry, a commercial mindset, and a demonstrated interest in the investment industry.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Support a go-to-market strategy through market research, analysis and reporting to Americas Index Coverage team
- Collaborate with sales specialists on prospecting and outreach to prospective clients
- Assisting with the execution of sales campaigns and lead generation
- Engage with existing Institutional clients and prospective clients
- Coordination with Sales, Sales Operations, Legal, Finance teams to assist with contract preparation and management
- Supporting event planning and management through coordination with the Client Coverage, Products and Marketing teams
**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**
- Required: 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry with deep understanding of investment industry
- Experience supporting business development, pre-sales process management, and market analysis
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Fluency in English, Spanish and in Portuguese
- MBA and/or completion/progress towards CFA, CAIA or FRM Charter is a plus
