Required skills - PostgreSQL,MySQL and MongoDB Requisitos:Responsibilities: · Administer and maintain PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB database systems, ensuring their availability, reliability and security. · Monitor and forecast database capacity requirements, and make recommendations for scaling database systems. · Orchestrate DB interactions, develop solutions that are repeatable and recyclable. · Plan and execute data migration and data transformation tasks as needed. Likely from on-prem to cloud using open-source tools and custom scripts as needed. · Manage cross platform data replication using open-source tools. · Monitor and optimize database performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, fine-tuning queries, and optimizing system resources. · Some non-RDBMS work likely – maintaining and troubleshooting Mongo DB clusters as needed. · R&D + Implementation of automation & orchestration for DBaaS solutions found within our Cloud Architecture. Participate in on call rotation as defined by management. · Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configuration, procedures and troubleshooting guides. Requirements: · 5+ years’ experience handling large scale RDBMS and no-SQL systems and related database migrations · Proficiency in database management systems such as Postgres, MySQL, Oracle and Mongo. · Proficiency in SQL , query optimization and troubleshooting skills across multiple database platforms. · Familiarity with database performance monitoring and optimization tools. · Demonstrated ability to design and implement secure, scalable and high-performance database solutions. · Knowledge of data security best practices. · Experience working in Cloud, Agile, CI/CD, DevOps environments a plus · Customer oriented with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders · Experience working with 24/7 production websites · Excellent communication and teamwork skills. · Experience in developing, maintaining and optimizing Shell and Unix scripts to automate routine database tasks, backups, data migrations, and system monitoring. Education/Qualifications: · Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience. · 4+ years’ experience with PostgreSQL (extensive Oracle/MySQL experience with a willingness to learn PostgreSQL may substitute) English - Advanced / Fluent
