Drive Revenue Growth as a Revenue Recognition Specialist

The ideal candidate will perform revenue recognition process from contract inception through general ledger reconciliation for assigned client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure business and financial close requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Improve and manage the contract approval process from proposal through signature to drive revenue growth.
- Perform month-end closing tasks, journal entries, and reconciliations for assigned clients to maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting requirements, including variance analysis to provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
- Support external and internal audits by providing relevant information and documentation.
- Maintain deferred cost analysis and client margin analysis to ensure compliance with revenue recognition rules.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in public accounting combined with industry experience is preferred.
- Experience working with sales, finance, and operations teams to forecast financial results and revenue recognition treatment is essential.
- Familiarity with US GAAP (ASC 606) and IFRS (IFRS 15) revenue recognition rules is required.
- Fluent English language skills are necessary for effective communication.
- Availability to work in a hybrid office setting in Sao Paulo or Campinas is a must.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required for this role.
