Chainlink Labs was ranked in Newsweek’s 100 Most Loved Workplaces 2023 in both the United States and United Kingdom.About The RoleChainlink decentralized oracle networks provide tamper-proof inputs, outputs, and computations to support advanced smart contracts on any blockchain. As the ecosystem continues to grow rapidly, we are building infrastructure to further secure the reliability of our networks and incentivize good behavior.Your ResponsibilitiesSupport and lead a team of up to eight engineers to build the on-chain billing and payments protocol within the Chainlink ecosystem.Collaborate closely with engineering, product, operations, finance, and other teams to deliver an intuitive backbone that enables scaling across many products and chains.Lead hiring efforts to grow the engineering team with talented engineers.Ensure high team productivity, morale, and technical contribution through code reviews and occasional coding.Work with product and leadership to align on scope, set expectations, and meet business goals.Minimum RequirementsAt least 5 years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in leadership or management roles.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.Experience working on globally distributed teams with high ownership.Proven track record of delivering impactful products end-to-end on time and with high quality.Excellent stakeholder management skills, both technical and non-technical.Ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and deliver successful products.Preferred SkillsProficiency in Solidity, TypeScript, Golang, SQL.Experience developing secure smart contracts with meaningful on-chain value.Experience building reliable products for a global user base.Experience working across multiple time zones.Active participation in the blockchain ecosystem.All roles are remote and global. Overlapping some working hours with EST is preferred.
