
Solar Module Business Development Manager

As a key sales professional, you will drive the growth of our solar module sales business in Brazil. Your primary objective will be to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, ensuring we stay ahead of the competition.
To achieve this goal, you will conduct comprehensive regional market analysis, focusing on supply/demand trends, government policies, competitors' activities, and the performance of key distributors and installers.
You will build strong business relationships with potential partners, including distributors, installers, and consultants. This will involve developing tailored strategies for each partner, enabling us to maximize our sales potential.
Establishing quarterly and annual sales targets is crucial. You will work proactively to ensure these targets are met through innovative sales initiatives.
You will also support marketing efforts for regional campaigns, such as exhibitions, presentations, and product launches. Regular sales reports will be prepared for management review, tracking progress against goals.
Additionally, you will gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and input from across the organization to inform our product strategy and roadmap in the PV module segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough regional market research and analysis.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Support marketing efforts for regional campaigns.
- Prepare regular sales reports for management review.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback and market trends.
- Inform product strategy and roadmap development.
- 3-5 years of experience in the solar module industry.
- Proven ability to generate sales and develop business opportunities.
- Familiarity with customer procurement processes.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Financial acumen, including budget understanding.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a proactive and competitive mindset.
- Interpersonal skills, including relationship-building and communication.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Self-starting abilities, with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional planning, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50-60% of the time.
- Fluent local language and English is essential.
