Senior Risk Consultant

Whether it's airplanes, satellites, the world's biggest ships and tallest building, cyber-attacks or climate change impacts, Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty (AGCS) have got the major risks fully covered when it comes to protecting businesses.
Based in São Paulo and reporting directly to the ARC Regional Manager in Madrid, the cyber engineer will be responsible for providing cyber related exposure analysis and risk improvement consultancy services to AGCS's large corporate cyber clients across several international locations. In this role, the cyber engineer will support globally underwriters by conducting desk-top-reviews, on-site engineering visits to the facilities of existing and prospective clients and maintain professional working relationships with Underwriting, Global Distribution, Claims, clients and brokers. The global role will be actively involved in the appraisal and development of cyber products and be one of the points of contact for Cyber Risks, providing presentations and information when required.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Risk Assessments
- Complete desk top reviews and risk assessments (pre & post loss) for underwriting evaluating and summarising exposures and controls.
Consulting Services
- Work with underwriting, claims, clients and brokers where appropriate to develop customised loss control programmes including locations to be surveyed (or included as part of continuing service), scope and cost of risk consulting services.
Services Guidance
- Generate and review required reports and recommendations. Meet reporting deadlines in accordance with departmental performance objectives.
Survey Analysis
- Survey client operations obtain appropriate data, identify hazards, discuss findings with appropriate parties. Generate loss control reports, recommendations etc.
3rd Party Support
- Appoint / monitor 3rd parties ensuring adequate contract / controls in place with budgets agreed up front. Check and ensure quality of work provided by 3rd parties.
Projects
- Assist AGCS and clients with respect to ongoing or specific projects. Support technical training presentations for internal and external clients as required / appropriate.
**Key Requirements / Skills / Experience / Expertise**:
- Master's Degree in Information Technology - PhD is a plus
- Business Continuity Management - e2e digital value chain
- Information Security / IT Security
- Industry knowledge in digitalisation - focus on OT and Industrial Control Systems
- Knowledge of ICT Management Systems and risk assessment methods and tools
- At least 5 years' experience in the manufacturing industry or consulting companies
- Strong digital and data analytical skills
- Sales experience
- Strong communication skills: ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally
- Fluent in Portuguese and English. Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
