Associate Manager Professional Education

Associate Manager Professional Education & Development primary role is lead the Education Projects and expand the reach of Professional educational and business support to customers within Brazil. This will be achieved by:- Optimizing customers’ and key influencers’ awareness of the clinical benefits of Johnson & Johnson Vision care (JJVC) portfolio throughout educational programs aligned with business needs.- Engage in regular dialogue with pre-selected ECPs to support them and gather their views.- Lead practice visits and peer-to-peer recommendation initiative.- Lead educational initiatives to increase knowledge and confidence in the JJVC portfolio and technologies related to.- Leverage educational materials and non-peer articles from other regions, developing and realizing the publication plan for Brazil.- Scientific review and claim substantiation of Brazil professional and marketing material while ensuring robust local copy clearance process is in place.- Drive shaping external environment and ensure strong partnering with other areas to ensure full compliance.- Understand the interaction between sales, marketing, professional marketing and Heathcare Compliance (HCC).- Professional support and contact quality from targeted accounts.- Increase of knowledge and confidence of ECPs to prescribe CLs following educational initiatives.- Understand the professional and clinical support needed by the business.- Understand clinical, technical and performance differences between JJVC portfolio and key competitor products.- Keep up to date with the latest research and advancements within JJVC technology.- Ensure a robust local copy clearance process is in place, supported by regular training of the Marketing and local teams as required and also to ensure substantiation of all claims in materials.- Understand the need for the future for new studies, in-market assessment or market research surveys in Brazil to generate new regional or local claims.- Understand the required regulatory, legal, and healthcare compliance policies.**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**- Assist Brazilian Senior Professional Education Manager: panel meetings, and training, product launches, practice visits etc.- Support practice visits and peer-to-peer recommendation initiative.- Actively participate in Vision care involvement in conferences across Brazil and also support local Ofthas committees.- Participate in regular dialogue with ECPs designed to help support them and gather their views.- Development / Management of KOLs;- Partnership with Medical Societies;- Increase and further optimize the claims and messaging to ECPs and consumers in Brazil.- Scientific review and claim substantiation of Brazilian professional and marketing material - work with Marketing in the development of all customers facing (ECP & consumer) materials to ensure robust substantiation of claims.- Scientific/technical queries from ECPs and consumers.- Professional communication, education & development to raise profile of Vision care and its portfolio - leadership Vision care at major Brazilian conferences- Key Metrics that will be used to measure success:Professional support and contact quality from targeted accounts.- % Increase of knowledge and confidence of ECPs to prescribe following educational initiatives.- Success of educational projects according to the defined KPIs for each one of them.- **Qualifications**:University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent. Qualified Ophthalmologist5 years working with ophthalmologyExperience working in clinical ophthalmologyLanguage: English advanced. Spanish intermediary is a plus.Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.Thorough understanding of compliance requirements.Experienced with direct communications and interactions with Health care professionals (HCP).Good problem-solving skills. Strong leadership, coaching skills.Demonstrated management abilities.Location: Sao Paulo/SP, BrazilTravel: 50% required
