About the Role We’re looking for a Tech Lead who will join the Winona Engineering team. As a Tech Lead, you will be a trusted advisor and own the entire technical lifecycle for assigned projects. You’ll apply a broad range of specialized skills to tackle complex challenges, requiring innovative solutions and a deep understanding of technical concepts. You’ll plan and execute project development independently, foster collaboration, and resolve conflicts within the team. Responsibilities Provide technical direction and leadership for a single team, making key decisions regarding architecture, frameworks, and tools. Offer mentorship through regular one‑on‑one meetings, code reviews, pair programming, and skill development support. Escalate issues proactively to the Engineering Manager and Human Resources Director as needed. Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical specifications. Ensure code quality through rigorous reviews, adherence to best practices, and continuous improvement of engineering processes. Lead cross‑functional teams through troubleshooting, architectural decisions, and deployment strategies. Qualifications & Experience 6+ years of software development experience, including 1–2 years in a technical lead or equivalent leadership role. Proven experience leading technical projects from inception to completion. Mastery of relevant programming languages, frameworks, and development tools (ReactJS, JavaScript, AWS, PostgreSQL, Nuxt.js). Strong experience with Contentful, Webflow, WordPress, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Expertise in agile development methodologies, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and project management tools. Excellent problem‑solving, critical thinking, and communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Strong leadership, mentorship, and task delegation capabilities. Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.
