Murex Consultant Opportunity

Project Details:

  • Bespoke Implementation - First and second-level production system support for Murex 3.1

Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a seasoned consultant to implement, configure, and develop Murex systems in various capacities, including datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.
  • The successful candidate will coordinate with stakeholders to gather, document, and verify requirements.
  • This role involves analyzing and making recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.
  • A key aspect of this position is following client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.
  • In addition, the consultant will support IT and business audits and technology risk assessments.
  • Database and infrastructure changes will be developed and tested by this individual.
  • They will perform technical reviews of production changes.
  • Clear documentation of issues and resolution within Confluence is also required.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches is a critical component of this role.
  • The ideal candidate will deal directly with business users across the bank to analyze and diagnose business-critical issues.
  • Issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, and reporting will be analyzed and resolved by this consultant.
  • Providing detailed information about issues to the vendor and coordinating with them in testing fixes/solutions is essential.
  • The consultant will act as an intermediary between business and vendor.
  • Debugging and enhancing bespoke Java processes supporting the Murex implementation is also required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity.
  • Strong technical capability.
  • Solid understanding of datamart.
