Job Description

As an industrial automation technician, you will work in a dynamic and project-structured environment. Your main activities will include the configuration and programming of controllers (PAC/PLC), supervisory systems (HMI/SCADA) and DCS solutions, and participating in factory tests (FAT) and performing commissioning and startup in our customers' industrial plants. You will report to the PROCESS ENGINEERING TEAM LEAD.

Understand and interpret conceptual engineering documentation, such as P&IDs, flowcharts, MCE, logic diagrams, and electrical drawings, and the architecture of automation systems and industrial networks, will be an important part of your job. You will also prepare project documentation, contributing to the development of innovative solutions. Therefore, you will always learn and grow.

Job Description

As an industrial automation technician, you will work in a dynamic and project-structured environment. Your main activities will include the configuration and programming of controllers (PAC/PLC), supervisory systems (HMI/SCADA) and DCS solutions, and participating in factory tests (FAT) and performing commissioning and startup in our customers' industrial plants. You will report to the PROCESS ENGINEERING TEAM LEAD.

The Project Technician in the Rockwell Automation Solutions team participates in the Development and Implementation phases of industrial automation projects with emphasis on the following activities:

• Configure and implement industrial automation systems based on Rockwell products, mostly PlantPAx solutions
• Analyze customers' engineering documentation (P&IDs, Flowcharts, MCE, Descriptives, and Electrical Diagrams)
• Program Industrial Controllers (PAC/PLC) (Studio5000)
• Develop Supervision Screens and HMIs (FactoryTalk View SE/ME)
• Validate solution with the Customer in factory tests (TAF)
• Perform the startup of the solution in the field (Commissioning/Start up)
• Configure/implement industrial networks (EthernetIP)
• Configure industrial equipment (Relays, drives, MCCs, HMIs, and instrumentation)

• Technical course (Industrial Automation / Electronics / Electrical or equivalent)
• Experience in Industrial Automation projects
• Participation in complex projects in the process industry
• Availability to travel and work at customer sites 50% of the time
• Knowledge in industrial controller programming languages (Ladder / FBD / SFP / Structured Text)
• FactoryTalk View Knowledge
• Knowledge of Studio5000 (ControlLogix)
• PlantPAx (DCS) Knowledge
• Knowledge in Industrial Network - EthernetIP

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Industrial Automation projects
• English - oral and written
• Experience with VMWare virtualization environments
• Knowledge of industrial communication networks and protocols (AS-i, DNET, CNET, and DH+)
• Knowledge in legacy systems (PLC5, SLC500)
• Knowledge in S88 batch systems
• Advanced software (FTAsset Centre, FTHistorian, FTBatch)
• Knowledge in Database (SQL)
• Workbench (AADvance)
• Driver's License (B)

Você se reportará ao LÍDER DA EQUIPE DE ENGENHARIA DE PROCESSO.

Compreender e interpretar a documentação de engenharia conceitual, como P&IDs, fluxogramas, MCE, diagramas lógicos e desenhos elétricos, e a arquitetura de sistemas de automação e redes industriais, será uma parte importante do seu trabalho. Você também preparará a documentação do projeto, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento de soluções inovadoras. Portanto, você sempre aprenderá e crescerá.

Suas responsabilidades:

O Técnico de Projetos da equipe da Rockwell Automation Solutions participa das fases de Desenvolvimento e Implementação de projetos de automação industrial com ênfase nas seguintes atividades:

• Configurar e implementar sistemas de automação industrial baseados em produtos Rockwell, sendo em sua maioria soluções PlantPAx.
• Analisar documentações de engenharia dos clientes (P&IDs, Fluxogramas, MCE, Descritivos, Diagramas Elétricos)
• Programar controladores industriais (PAC/PLC) (Studio5000)
• Desenvolver telas de supervisão e IHMs (FactoryTalk View SE/ME)
• Validar solução com o Cliente em testes em fábrica (TAF)
• Realizar a partida da solução em campo (Comissionamento/Start up)
• Configurar / implementar redes industriais (EthernetIP)
• Configurar equipamentos industriais (Reles, drives, CCMs, IHMs, instrumentação)

O essencial - você terá:

• Formação Técnica (Automação Industrial / Eletrônica / Elétrica ou equivalente)
• Experiência em projetos de Automação Industrial
• Participação em projetos complexos na indústria de processos
• Disponibilidade para viagens e trabalhos nas instalações de clientes por 50% do tempo
• Conhecimento em linguagens de programação de controladores industriais (Ladder / FBD / SFP / Structured Text )
• Conhecimento em FactoryTalk View
• Conhecimento em Studio5000 (ControlLogix)
• Conhecimento em PlantPAx (DCS)
• Conhecimento em Rede Industrial – EthernetIP
