Exploring the role
RateGain seeks an experienced Director focused on European markets to further scale this essential unit of our business. The ideal candidate will understand how LatAm hotel chains function and operate, and will be familiar with the technology solutions adopted by these chains to achieve their commercial objectives. The role requires a trusted advisor able to assist chains to navigate the complexities of the travel technology ecosystem and guide them to the right decisions in distribution, business intelligence, marketing technologies, and beyond. This is an individual contributor role; the candidate is expected to be a self-starter and self-driven, ready to innovate to create value for hotel chain clients while aligning with company goals. This position can be based anywhere in LatAm and involves travel within LatAm without limitations.
How your day will look like / Job responsibilities
- Build and manage strategic alliances with regional and local partners (e.g. RMS, PMS, booking engines, OTAs)
- Define and execute a partnership roadmap aligned with RateGain’s GTM strategy in LATAM
- Identify co-marketing, co-selling, and integration opportunities with key players in the hospitality and travel ecosystem
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal) to structure and execute partnership agreements
- Represent RateGain in industry events and partnership meetings to promote our brand and solutions
- Monitor partner performance, engagement, and contribution to pipeline and revenue
- Provide regular reporting and insights on partnership outcomes and market trends
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships
Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of the LATAM hospitality and travel technology ecosystem
- Knowledge of SaaS business models and partnership structures
- Awareness of regional trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape in the travel and hospitality sectors
Skills
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilities
- Excellent relationship management skills with ability to engage partners at all levels
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills in Spanish, Portuguese, and English
- Ability to identify, pitch, and convert strategic partnership opportunities
- Proficiency in using CRM and sales enablement tools
- Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Legal, Product, etc.)
- Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong drive to exceed targets
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth and innovation
- Culturally sensitive and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively in a global, remote team
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ownership
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced and evolving environment
