Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to fill a critical role in our accounting department. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a comprehensive approach to defining, setting up, or troubleshooting issues on greenfield Calypso instances. They will also develop solutions for Back Office (BO) / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements, and manage methodology and best practices for these areas.

Key responsibilities include creating and delivering assigned projects/tasks, revising as needed to meet changing needs, and ensuring supporting documents are complete, current, and stored properly. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and the ability to act entrepreneurially.

Additionally, the selected individual will collaborate with functional/business stakeholders to achieve clear outcomes/deliverables, manage deliverables, and ensure transparency of risks, issues, and dependencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and on Calypso.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Deep knowledge of Financial products cross assets.
  • Proven track record of delivering accounting and finance related solutions within Calypso.
  • Experience in adherence to governance frameworks and handover to BAU.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of trade flow, trading systems, and related concepts/technology.
  • Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act entrepreneurially.
  • Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with technical and business resources at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Experience working in highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environments.
