- Real World Evidence (RWE) - harnessing real-world evidence data to improve diagnostic accuracy, tailor treatments, and drive innovations in personalized healthcare.
- Risk adjustment - utilizing advanced algorithms to analyze extensive healthcare data, enabling more precise predictions of patient risks and healthcare costs, and facilitating fairer insurance premium setting.
- Payment Integrity - automating fraud detection, ensuring accurate claims processing, and reducing financial losses through sophisticated data analysis and pattern recognition.
- Healthcare Operations: using AI and machine learning to optimize hospital workflows, resource allocation, and patient scheduling
- Medical Imaging: leveraging computer vision techniques to analyze medical images, detect abnormalities, and assist with diagnosis
**Responsibilities**:
- **Data Analysis and Mining**: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform medical research, clinical trials, and healthcare operations.
- **Model Development**: Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to predict outcomes, personalize treatments, and improve diagnostic accuracy.

**Requirements**:
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Data Science roles or other relevant fields (AI, ML, Data Science)
- 3+ years of experience in the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry or related fields
- Very strong technical skills in technologies relevant to the field, and a deep understanding of underlying concepts and mechanisms (math, algorithms, models, statistics) needed for producing optimal and performant solutions
- Proven experience in scoping, designing, and architecting complex and large-scale solutions, estimating milestones, timeframes, and resources accurately
- Proven experience in leading projects and teams to a successful outcome
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence key stakeholders to make informed decisions
- Strong communication and presentation skills to be able to distill complex information and concepts into clear messages that resonate with clients of various technical backgrounds
- Curious, creative, outgoing personality with wide horizons committed to success and inspired by excellence
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and/or similar domains (highly preferable)
- Background in Research activities and published papers
- Skills in writing domain-specific content e.g. whitepapers, blogs, etc.
