As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Legal and Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team.**Role Overview**:**Key Responsibilities**:- Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements with clients, suppliers, and other partners, ensuring they meet legal and company requirements.- Draft and prepare various legal documents, including legal letters, corporate documents, and internal policies, ensuring they are accurate and compliant.- Help with the administration of internal committees or subcommittees as needed, including taking meeting minutes, preparing agendas and following up on action points.- Maintain and update the company’s contract management system, ensuring all contracts are properly stored, tracked, and kept up to date.- Assist in ensuring the company complies with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to gaming licenses, data protection and anti money laundering.- Conduct legal research to support business decisions, keeping the team informed on industry developments and regulatory changes.- Help identify potential legal risks and assist with mitigating them, offering solutions to reduce the company’s exposure to legal issues.- Assist the Legal and Compliance Director in tracking the progress of ongoing legal projects, ensuring timelines are met and providing updates on key milestones.- Provide legal support as required for various projects or tasks across the company.**Requirements**:- Master of Advocacy Degree- Warrant to practice law in Malta.- Proven experience (2 - 3 years) in a legal or compliance role, ideally within either a B2B company, Corporate Service Provider or a law firm focusing on the iGaming industry.- Exceptional skills in drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents.- Basic understanding of iGaming regulations and licensing requirements.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
