We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Tax Compliance Manager . This key position will be pivotal in ensuring seamless adherence to tax regulations and standards, thereby minimizing financial risks and optimizing our company's tax obligations. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation, exceptional communication skills in both Portuguese and English, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. Responsibilities: Manage indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning to ensure compliance with current legislation and optimization of the tax burden; Prepare and file all tax returns (direct and indirect taxes), including PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, etc., in a timely and accurate manner; Monitor tax compliance processes and collaborate with internal accounting and finance teams to ensure tax obligations are met; Manage and respond to federal, state, and municipal tax audits, including coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities; Analyze changes in Brazilian tax legislation and assess potential business impacts, providing recommendations for compliance; Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law. Advanced degree or CPA certification preferred; Experience: Solid experience in indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning; Knowledge: Familiarity with Tax reform; Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with different stakeholders; Language proficiency: Fluent in Portuguese (native) and English (written & spoken);
