Are you a Chemical Engineer II who drives customer satisfaction? Join our team at Baker Hughes, a global leader in energy technology. You will be responsible for conducting all testing activities under the ETEC# R&D project, focused on developing a chemical product that enhances water injectivity in oil reservoirs. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process. Serve as Subject Matter Expert for your area of support. Support the field technically through online, phone calls, and technical papers. Provide 24/7 support for critical operations in the field when needed. Document and share best practices, case histories, and lessons learned in the knowledge management database. Follow up on field failures that require technology involvement and ensure learning is shared across the field. Raise alerts across the Service Delivery organization when unfamiliar technical issues arise. Coach other technical resources in their area of expertise. Communicate to Engineering and Technology organizations on issues and lessons learned related to different technologies. Perform tests needed to develop the product aimed at improving injectivity in oil wells. Ensure the test chronogram for the ETEC is accomplished. Develop reports of technical data obtained by testing. Prepare information for gate meetings together with the project coordinator. Install and commission new equipment. Validate calibration and maintenance of equipment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Displays initiative; self‑driven and flexible. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to develop and mentor others. Availability on call outside normal business hours. Good communication skills. Fluency in English and Portuguese is required. Desired Characteristics Thorough understanding of PL technology and Service Delivery requirements. Significant operational experience. End‑to‑end knowledge of drilling and completion processes is an advantage. Ability to use various computer tools to prepare data and visualizations for analysis.
