- Handle medical information inquiries using expertise with MI science skills in defining the research question, researching the relevant topics, evaluating the evidence, and synthesizing it to deliver high quality medical and scientific information. That includes researching and preparing responses for customer inquiries, providing the responses directly to external customers (Healthcare Professionals, Patients etc.) or via contact center agents, documenting them in the inquiry and content management system.
- Authors and maintains accurate and fair balanced scientific content collections for designated portfolio in accordance with MI standards and prevailing regulations.
- Ensures the availability, accuracy, and maintenance of medical content on MI digital platforms and self-service activities.
- Support key scientific conventions/congresses through participation in meeting's preparation or post-congress involvement with cross-functional teams, as well as providing information in response to an unsolicited medical inquiry.
- Ensure that the frontline personnel have the necessary product-specific training and product-related medical responses to appropriately meet customer needs and expectations.
- Develop relationships with internal stakeholders to provide MI updates, discuss customer insights and potential issues, learn about priorities and develop appropriate responses. Increase awareness and train local colleagues in MI processes and services that can be provided.
- Review data and develop routine or ad-hoc reports in order to communicate inquiry volumes, discuss trends and customer insights with MI colleagues or business partners to promote Medical Information value and generate new ideas.
- Exhibits broad knowledge of the customer journey to MI and is the content strategist in ensuring relevant content is created, maintained, and pushed to customers preferred MI channels (IVR, websites, contact center etc.) in a timely manner.
- Identify and forward potential adverse events and/or product complaints if identified while processing a medical information inquiry according to applicable procedures.
- Maintain compliance with country, regional, and global training requirements on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and local laws, regulations and marketing practices.

- Advanced level in in both written and spoken Portuguese and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Education
- Pharmacy Degree or Health Sciences Degree
- Experience
- Previous experience of 4 years in pharmaceutical industry or in provision of medical information to healthcare professionals and consumers.
- Experience in Medical Information function (preferred)
