**Job Title: Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Technician**
**Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates**
**Job Summary**: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ALSE Technician to support aviation maintenance operations by assisting the ALSE Supervisor in conducting unit and intermediate-level inspections, servicing, and repairs of all Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE), including Night Vision Goggles (NVG). This role is critical in ensuring flight safety and operational readiness.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform removal, replacement, cleaning, preservation, and storage of ALSE and NVG equipment.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance inspections on aviation helmets, oxygen masks, survival vests, NVGs, first aid kits, life rafts, and more.
- Verify timely completion of inspections in accordance with applicable technical publications and directives.
- Ensure proper fit and functionality of ALSE/NVG equipment for all aviators and crewmembers.
- Manage requisition and inventory of all ALSE/NVG parts and shop stock.
- Complete and maintain accurate records in line with DA PAM 738-751 and internal regulations.
- Provide training to host nation personnel on ALSE maintenance protocols.
- Maintain accountability and care for assigned tools and equipment.
**Experience and Qualifications**:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal ALSE/NVG training course from an accredited military/civilian institution.
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience with ALSE/NVG systems, including flotation devices, oxygen masks, flight helmets with CEP/ANR, ANVIS 9 series, and F4949 goggles.
- Expertise in troubleshooting ALSE/NVG systems and interpreting technical documentation.
- Knowledge of chemical warfare equipment considered a plus.
- Strong understanding of survival kits, pyrotechnics, and hot climate gear usage.
