RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for all import and export process in Brazil. Subject matter expert in Foreign Trade for Brazil and South America. Stay updated in customs and trade processes and requirements changes. Anticipate needs and act as an advisor to keep the operation compliant with legal requirements. Responsible for documentation control for imports, main contact for shipping plants. Responsible for documentation elaboration and main contact for customers receiving products from Brazil. Bacardi responsible for Brazil customs broker management and import / export cost control. Responsible for yearly import / export budget definition, saving initiatives planning and execution and cost control for each operation. Key point of contact for all imports tracking. Coordination with the customs agent, freight forwarder and/or parcel companies for the import and export logistics. Maintain electronic backup of import / export operations for a period of at least 5 years through the company's official means (SharePoint). Align with planning on production dates to meet product requirement for customers’ Pos, schedule pickups, and provide feedback to customer service on availability and shipment dates according to Brazil’s Keep control and monitoring of invoiced and in-transit shipments, and provide visibility to the teams involved (planning, warehouse, etc.). Ensure continuous improvements in the KPIs related to the import and export processes (operational costs, assertiveness in documents shared with Customs and competent authorities). Creation of Purchase Orders in system and monitoring for the payment to suppliers. Serve as the key point of contact to address documentation requirements for product registration, customs or any other regulatory / legal process in Brazil and the markets that receive product from Brazil plants. SKILLS 5 years of experience in Brazil international trade operations. Experience in other South American markets is desirable. Knowledge of MAPA and Receita Federal processes, systems (as DUIMP) and requirements. Experience working with customs brokers and freight forwarders. Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, Business Administration or Engineering. Fluent or native in Portuguese, advanced English and Spanish written and spoken. Customs Law and its regulations (responsibilities and obligations of the customs agent and exporter/importer, non‑compliance and sanctions in foreign trade operations, foreign trade regimes and their process, among others). In depth understanding of international trade principles, including Incoterms and free trade agreements. Intermediate – advanced Excel, SAP desirable. Demonstrate accountability and capability to work independently with confidence to ask for support when required and with ability to navigate a matrixial and global organization. Administration skills, analytical skills, and close attention to detail. Managing stakeholder expectations in relation to delivery & execution Focused on compliance with policies and procedures. Understanding of the business and the consumer and client needs. Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
