SERVICE DESCRIPTION

The SIMOPS Coordinator will ensure the coordination of SIMOPS activities for the COMPANY Project during the installation phase. The SIMOPS Coordinator will adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding Company Ethics and the “Code of Conduct” policy and H3SE rules and regulations. They will keep informed of company Referential (CR, GS, and GM) and international standards related to their area of responsibility, applying knowledge from these standards to the Project.

The SIMOPS Coordinator will ensure that the COMPANY Project SIMOPS Philosophy, based on Company Rules (CR-OT-OPP-308 Simultaneous operations of subsea handling and Production and CR-OT-DW-450 Drilling & Production Simultaneous Operations: SIMOPS), safety studies, and risk assessments, are implemented. They will lead risk assessments for SIMOPS / COMOPS activities and prepare the SIMOPS / COMOPS dossiers.

They will ensure that COMPANY Project activities are part of the Affiliate integrated look-ahead planning, identifying potential clashes between operations. The Coordinator will coordinate with the COMPANY Project Installation Manager, Drilling Manager, and FOPS Manager to resolve co-activity issues based on day-to-day progress.

All safety measures must be properly considered. The Coordinator will support the Installation Manager, RSES onboard FPSO, and RSES-D’s onboard vessels.

ACTIVITIES

The SIMOPS Coordinator will:

  1. Update the COMPANY Project SIMOPS Philosophy, if deemed necessary.
  2. Ensure the preparation of SIMOPS activities onboard FPSO with FPSO CTR, including the presence of a Flotel.
  3. Follow up on the preparation of CTR’s documents, including installation procedures and installation risk assessment.
  4. Ensure that the definition of Exclusion zones and Restricted areas are well known by all stakeholders within the COMPANY Project Team, including CTR.
  5. Support interfaces between CTR’s, CPY stakeholders and participate in coordination meetings for vessel activities.
  6. Ensure that integrated planning is up to date and followed by all stakeholders to avoid impacts on HSE, schedule, or cost.
  7. Understand vessel activities and ensure that all stakeholders are aware of scheduled vessel movements and priorities.
  8. Report any conflict or clash identified during coordination meetings and ensure all relevant information is shared with CTR teams.
  9. Support in the development of mitigations and solutions to avoid co-activities or decrease the impact.
  10. Ensure proper circulation and signature of SIMOPS & COMOPS dossiers between stakeholders.

Participate in COMPANY Operation meetings.

DURATION & LOCATION

Start (estimated): January 2025.
Contract duration: 12 months with 6 months right to extend.
Location: The SIMOPS Coordinator will be based onshore as a resident with missions offshore on board vessels or FPSO; training required for offshore missions is included in the daily rate.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Professional Experience (years): 10.
Experience in similar services (years): min 5-10.
Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent.

Languages: Fluent Portuguese and Fluent English (spoken and written).
