Overview

Analyst, Governance & Business Services at FlexFunds. FlexFunds is an international financial services company headquartered in the Brickell area of Miami. The role supports governance, risk management, and financial oversight of structured products within the Governance and Business Services team. The position blends analytical rigor with cross‑functional collaboration, process consistency, and documentation excellence to ensure transparency, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.

The candidate will have the opportunity to develop into a cross‑disciplinary team member and support multiple key teams with the potential to scale an entrepreneurial and innovative company within financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Governance: Develop and maintain governance frameworks and policies aligned with regulatory standards and strategic objectives.
• Governance: Ensure cross‑team adherence to frameworks and policies to promote transparency, ethical conduct, and risk mitigation.
• Governance: Support periodic internal control reviews by documenting findings and recommending improvements to reduce operational risks.
• Business Services: Coordinate the end‑to‑end risk management process, including meeting preparation, documentation oversight, cross‑team follow‑up, and timely updates in relevant systems.
• Business Services: Review financial statements of entities involved in prospective deal structures to validate financial health, identify potential red flags, and assess risk exposure before product setup.
• Business Services: Analyze quarterly and annual financial statements of active series to monitor performance, extract operational ratios, identify emerging risks, and ensure alignment with the investment strategy and long‑term financial sustainability.
• Business Services: Notify and confirm with relevant service providers all product lifecycle events and changes in the series, ensuring timely updates and acknowledgment across all parties.
• Business Services: Support process optimization by maintaining the organizational process tree, ensuring consistency across workflows, updating documentation, and assisting in the remediation of audited processes to align with governance standards and operational best practices.
• Business Services: Manage and resolve tickets by assigning, escalating, and tracking progress, while capturing and validating incoming web leads from forms, landing pages, and digital campaigns.

Qualifications (Desired Profile)

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering.
• Bilingual/fluent in English and Spanish.
• Financial analysis and corporate documentation drafting.
• Knowledge on structured finance, asset securitization, or SPV management (desirable).
• Detail‑oriented, methodical, and ethically driven.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of initiative, ownership, and accountability.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project and process management skills.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and complete projects on time.
• Adaptable and willing to work with other departments.
• Self‑starter and organized.
• Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Google Sheets, Visio, SQL / Power Query (desirable).
