Security Associate**Job Description**:About the RoleThe Security Associate is a member of the Global Security Team (GST) in a regional location, and helps support the provision of holistic security and risk management services at multiple WeWork locations. This position reports to the Country Security Manager based in the assigned territory.**Responsibilities**:The Security Associate helps support holistic security management for WeWork, to include physical security, crisis management, and technological and operational security design and implementation. The Security Associate's main responsibilities involve administration and maintenance of multiple systems, to include access control, CCTV, service management systems and ticketing software. WeWork locations and members are our core clients, and the largest priority for this role is enabling new building openings and ensuring the security of established locations through such work.The Security Lead will help enable the GST to carry out its core mission statement, which is to secure and safeguard the WeWork member community's passion to succeed while doing what they love.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDaily administration and maintenance of current service agreementsManage all service requests for repairs, maintenance and projectsManage the regional security Sales Force (helpdesk) ticketing systemTroubleshoot security problems and assess the need for external serviceAssign access cards to new employees, cleaners and contractorsSchedule dates for service, work reviews and building reviewsAssist in the execution of security upgrade projectsSupport new building openings by providing risk assessments, drawings reviews and physical security expertiseCoordinate with vendors to ensure timely completion of service/projectsFacilitate the completion of new building-opening checklists and follow on maintenance schedulesExperience3+ years experience in Security operations in a corporate environmentDemonstrated experience managing (installing, programming, and troubleshooting) access control softwareExperience managing and/or monitoring CCTV systemsUnderstanding of basic networking concepts (IP addresses, MAC addresses)Ability to liaise in a professional manner with WeWork members, execs, and external safety and security organizationsDemonstrated high level attention to detail and strong organization skillsAbility to multitask across multiple platforms, departments, time zones, and cultures when necessaryUnderstanding that Security is a 24/7 function - working nights and weekends may be required on occasion as wellPreferred ExperienceExperience with S2 Access Control SystemExperience using Zendesk ticket management systemExperience with Google apps and programs
