We are remote-first and support a diverse, global team. The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate will wear many hats, including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. You will participate in the design, implementation and management of our growing cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You should be passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, and be able to adapt to a fast-moving, security-first environment. This role reports to the Director of IT. You will be customer-facing and the first line of support, owning the employee tech experience via Slack, Jira, and other tools. Responsibilities include procuring and delivering technology equipment, onboarding new employees, and provisioning tech for outgoing staff. You will design, test, build, and document programs, policies, and tools, and contribute improvements to existing knowledge bases. You will support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.) and manage Mac endpoints and MDM/EMM tools. You will also work on identity and access management (IDP/SSO with G Suite, Okta), document solutions, and automate routine tasks. You will manage incidents, prioritize help desk tickets, and collaborate across teams (Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering, HR). You will work in sprints with Jira and align your objectives and key results with team and company goals. Responsibilities Provide end-user support and own the employee tech experience (Mac-centric environment). Procure and deliver technology equipment; own onboarding and offboarding hardware responsibilities. Design, test, build, and document IT programs and policies; contribute to knowledge bases. Manage SaaS applications: Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, etc. Manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management (MDM/EMM) tools (Jamf, etc.). Improve IDP and SSO tooling (GSuite, Okta); integrate systems via APIs. Troubleshoot, respond to incidents, and manage help desk tickets with prioritization. Participate in project work over sprints with Agile practices (Jira). Set and pursue own objectives and key results aligned with company goals. Qualifications 7+ years in SaaS systems administration (Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite). Ability to create automations using Bash, Zsh, Python, etc.; familiarity with open-source tools (Nudge, CIS benchmarks, Munki, etc.). Experience integrating SSO and workflows in Okta; API experience for system integrations. Remote support experience across multiple countries/time zones; shipping and receiving hardware experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts clearly and empathetically. Strong security consciousness and understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and OSI model troubleshooting. Self-management: ability to scope projects, prioritize, and work across multiple teams. Nice to Have / Culture Fit Familiarity with AWS; experience with GAM and command-line interfaces. Jamf or Okta certifications; Google Workspace certifications. Experience in a remote, high-growth startup or tech environment; collaborative, empathetic partner across functions.
