
Technical Support Specialist

The role of Application Support Engineer encompasses technical and functional support for critical business applications, ensuring optimal performance and compliance. This includes maintenance, quality assurance, environmental health and safety (EHS), production monitoring, IoT integration, and access control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced support for enterprise applications such as LIMS - LABWARE, EHS-INTELEX, DIMEP, MATICS, ST-One, and THINGWORX.
- Troubleshoot incidents, service requests, and change requests efficiently to minimize business disruption.
- Monitor application health, performance, and integrations closely.
- Support end-users across multiple countries and languages with high-quality service and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate documentation, audit trails, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
- Ensure seamless integration and data flow between applications and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Azure, Snowflake).
- Maintain applications that meet business needs in areas like maintenance, quality management, EHS, production monitoring, and access control.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience supporting enterprise applications in manufacturing, quality, EHS, or IoT environments is essential.
- Proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese language is a requirement.
- Familiarity with LIMS, SAP, EHS/ESG platforms, IoT data collection, and access control systems is necessary.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are required.
- Experience with SQL, Windows, Azure, and integration platforms is a plus.
- Able to work collaboratively with global teams and support users in multiple regions.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills are necessary.
- Significant experience in manufacturing apps is expected.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based solutions and real-time production monitoring would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in manufacturing is desirable.
- Multilingual support capabilities in English, Spanish, and Portuguese are preferred.
