So are we**The Work You'll Do**:The Pre-Sales Engineer will work with the Direct Sales and Alliance teams to provide technical support during the sales cycle for our solutions, acting as the bridge between sales and product, professional services, and support. You will utilize technical expertise to support the sales team and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.The Pre-Sales Engineer will be adept at leveraging technical expertise to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring seamless integration of product offerings with client needs. This role requires strong communication skills to enable effective cross-functional collaboration and the successful execution of complex sales initiatives. Known for developing robust sales strategies, conducting impactful product demonstrations, and providing comprehensive technical support to both clients and internal sales teams, the Pre-Sales Engineer will report to the Sales Engineering Manager - LATAM.- More specifically you will:_- Provide domain expertise around Tax Reporting.- Maintain an expert-level understanding of the functionality and technical architecture of our products.- Conduct the client discovery process to uncover unforeseen challenges and ensure the proper offering is being proposed.- Develop a firm understanding of customer needs, pain points, and requirements around the compliance process for the Brazilian market, aligning Sovos solutions to eliminate pain points and fulfill needs.- Work closely with Sovos’ Sales team to conduct sales and solution presentations for Strategic Enterprise and Mid-Size clients.- Design and deliver customized solution demonstrations using Sovos SaaS solutions and services.- Drive new brokerage sales opportunities with Alliances and work to upsell the current client base with account management.- Assist in the creation of RFP and RFI responses for prospective new clients.- Work closely with Implementation and Product Teams to ensure a seamless handoff from sales to onboarding for new clients.- Maintain and continually improve demonstration capabilities, conducting internal sales department training, demo system preparation, and proposal content development.- Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with stakeholders.- Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction.- Demonstrate initiative, drive, and determination to achieve results, success, and growth.- Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment to action.- Demonstrate a high degree of self-awareness and a commitment to personal development and learning.**What We Need From You**:- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education.- Strong knowledge of the Brazilian compliance environment.- Customer-facing experience is required.- Strong team orientation with a history of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize activities.- Thorough knowledge of MS Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.- Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed.- Moderate travel required for client meetings, trade shows, Sovos events, and special projects.**Essential Job Functions**:- Interact effectively with teammates, colleagues, and customers.- Comprehend and communicate complex concepts.- Analyze and resolve complex problems.**What Does Sovos Offer You?**The tools to enhance your life - because we want you to enjoy your life outside of work and inside- Comprehensive Health benefits- Bi-Weekly Meeting Free Days- Mentoring Programs- Globally recognized Training and Development programs- Virtual English Club through Rosetta Stone, and more- Sovos is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing an environment that celebrates diversity and where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and employees.
