Location : São Paulo, Brazil Reports to : Head of Fixed Income Trading Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fixed Income Trader to join our trading team in São Paulo. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Brazilian fixed income market, with hands‑on experience trading BRL local currency bonds, dollar‑denominated global bonds, DI Futures and FX. This individual will play a critical role in executing and managing trades, developing trading strategies, and monitoring macroeconomic developments that impact local and global bond markets. Key Responsibilities Execute trading strategies across BRL sovereign bonds, global USD bonds, and related FX positions with best execution. Monitor market flows, liquidity, and pricing to identify trading opportunities. Develop and implement short- to medium‑term strategies aligned with market conditions. Provide trade ideas and market insights to the broader investment team. Track macro, monetary, fiscal, geopolitical developments affecting Brazil’s fixed income and FX markets. Assess and manage credit, interest rate, and currency risks to align with portfolio objectives. Manage liquidity, funding, and risk exposures within approved limits. Coordinate with risk and treasury teams to optimize balance sheet usage and funding strategies. Maintain disciplined position sizing, stop‑loss adherence, and risk‑reward evaluation. Build and sustain strong relationships with brokers, market makers, and counterparties to enhance market access and execution quality. Represent the firm to strengthen its presence and franchise in the Brazilian market. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 3 years of hands‑on trading experience in BRL local currency bonds, dollar‑denominated bonds, and FX markets. In‑depth knowledge of Brazilian macroeconomic and political landscape, central bank policy, and debt issuance dynamics. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly interpret complex market data and translate it into actionable strategies. Demonstrated track record of risk management and P&L generation in volatile market environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both Portuguese and English preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA designation is a plus. Why Join Us?
