**Description**:
In this role, you will lead and manage an HR team of professionals across Brazil HR supporting almost 5000 workers in all functions. You will provide ongoing strategic solutions to your internal customers based on your knowledge of their business and long-term people strategy/goals. These solutions will include, but are not limited to:
- Strategic workforce planning
- Organizational design consulting
- Succession planning
- Capability building
- Recruitment, selection, and retention strategies
- Inclusion and diversity
- Employee engagement
- Coaching and managing performance
- Managing conflict
**Basic Qualifications**:
**Education**:College or university degree
**Experience**:Knowledge in human resources areas is required. Nine years of progressively responsible job-related experience required including leadership.
**Language**:English level advanced
**Behavioral skills**:Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.
Travel required is limited to moderate, 5-20% of working time. However, this role requires working outside the traditional 8-hour day as interaction with global teams and internal customers occurs in the early mornings and late evenings.
- Proven results in creating and implementing a strategic people strategy to support an internal customer's business goals
- A passion for learning about the business, building relationships with internal customers, and continuously improving people-related solutions
- The ability to listen as well as communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Managed a global team with a positive work environment and enjoyed being part of a team - helping others outside of your roles & responsibilities
- Experience working with global manufacturing operations teams with an understanding of Lean principles and proven success with Employee Relations strategies
- Strong coaching skills
- The ability to manage conflict, deliver difficult messages, and maintain composure and respect for others
- The ability to use facts and data to provide innovative customer solutions
- Experience in managing ambiguous situations while being flexible but not putting the company at risk
- Previous leadership experience leading global or regional teams
