Because a role here isn’t just another job; it’s a career-defining opportunity to build the future of fintech.****Job Description****To support our ongoing expansion across the Americas region, Checkout.com is now actively seeking a highly-driven and energetic associate to contribute with our growing Treasury team in Brazil.The role will also support broader initiatives in the US and Canada, ensuring best practice and consistency across a cross-regional Americas Treasury team.The ideal candidate will be highly strategic and will deploy an owner mindset. They will be well- organized, adaptable to the changing demands of the role, and capable of independent and autonomous build up solutions to drive Checkout.com’s ambitious goals for Brazil, and the wider business.**What You’ll Be Doing*** Inheriting end-to-end ownership of all aspects of the Treasury daily operation routines for Brazil, including our bank partnership strategy, our bank operational setup/integration and the development of our daily processes for reconciling and managing merchant settlements* Playing a significant role in executing our daily routine and partnering closely with our Commercial, Legal, Product and Accounting teams* Playing a key role interacting with other Treasury departments across the world conscious of local regulators, schemes rules and regulations* Understanding and applying regulatory requirements across liquidity, capital management and safeguarding processes* Managing and executing the daily reconciliation and processing of merchant payments on various regional banking platforms and working with Commercial stakeholders and leaders to troubleshoot merchant needs and issues* Developing and documenting internal processes and procedures* Collaborating closely with our external partners (e.g. Banks, Card Schemes, Regulators, etc.)* Producing regulatory submissions and other ad-hoc reporting as required* Assisting the Americas Regional Treasury team with daily processes and ongoing projects**Qualifications*** 5+ years of Treasury experience in an international set-up* Proven domain expertise in the Financial Services/Payments sectors in Brazil with a strong understanding of payments products and flows, and the nuances of Treasury operations in this industry* In-depth understanding of Treasury processes, including but not limited to, cash management, bank account management and Treasury operations with strong willingness to learn new products/processes* Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight delivery schedules and prioritize accordingly, communicating roadmaps and deliverables clearly and articulately* Strong sense of ownership and accountability* Ability to establish cross regional relationships and learn international processes across the Americas* High level of technical proficiency with MS Excel* Humility, low-ego and will be an ideal champion of our mission and values****Bring all of you to work****We create the conditions for high performers to thrive – through real ownership, fewer blockers, and work that makes a difference from day one.Here, you’ll move fast, take on meaningful challenges, and be recognized for the impact you deliver.
