Colored Byte is looking for a Shopify Ecommerce Project Manager. This is a fully remote position at a fast-growing Shopify design and development agency, with international clients. It’s an opportunity to gain international experience and collaborate with a diverse team.

What you will do
  • Master Shopify and the Shopify app ecosystem
  • Have calls and direct communication with clients and team members in English
  • Nurture client relationships while managing their project
  • Assign tasks, due dates and properly track progress using the latest software
  • Manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Understand the client and advocate for them while protecting the team from late nights and overtime
  • Talk to developers and designers to estimate hours needed to implement a feature
  • Keep the project within a timeframe, scope, and budget

What you\'ll need
  • 1 year experience working for an agency or similar high-pressure environment
  • Ability to handle difficult or delicate client situations
  • Amazing communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Consistent capacity of 40 hours weekly (full-time)
  • Availability within the Central Time Zone
  • Fluent English speaking, reading and writing
  • Familiarity with Slack, Asana/Monday/ClickUp and willingness to learn new tools
  • Comfort with doing manual and repetitive tasks
  • Fast learning and adaptability
  • Common sense and problem solving on your own
  • Accountability, consistency and radical ownership
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Reliable PC/laptop and internet connection
  • Experience managing designers and developers is a plus
  • Experience managing or creating Shopify stores
  • Background in Ecommerce
