Bilingual Portuguese Interpreter Role
We seek a highly skilled bilingual interpreter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating and localizing company products and business documents from English to Portuguese (Brazil) or from Chinese to Portuguese (Brazil). Your expertise in the Brazilian dialect of Portuguese is crucial in maintaining accurate terminology across our product lines.
Your primary focus areas include:
- Translation and Localization: Translate various materials with precision and accuracy, ensuring timely delivery.
- Termbase Management: Maintain the Portuguese (Brazil) termbase, guaranteeing its relevance and consistency.
You will also contribute to localization efforts by enhancing user experience and understanding through your language expertise. Additional responsibilities may include performing other translation, localization, and relevant work as assigned by management.
To succeed in this position, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and another language, preferably English or Chinese.
- Linguistic certifications and proven translation experience.
- Proficiency in Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools such as Trados, memoQ, and Smartling.
- Desirable: experience in finance, securities, futures, and digital currency translation.
