The System Analyst is responsible for discovery and development of requirements for the assigned
feature. Responsibilities for the assigned feature include.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering field from an ABET accredited university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in System Engineering, Design Engineer, Controls
Development, or Calibration.
- Must Speak, Read and Write English Fluently.
- Capable of creating Logical as well as Physical Schematics.
- Experience authoring Requirements and specifications.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills.
Highly motivated/self-starter with proven leadership skills. De
- monstrated ability to work in a team environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- High Level Requirements elicitation from all potential stakeholders, including but not limited to Vehicle Integration, Calibration team and Chief Engineering (cross-regional and cross-brand).
- Design and documentation of functional and diagnostic requirements, to satisfy all stakeholder requirements, at vehicle interface level (Vehicle Function (VF) documents) and at control system level (Component Functional Technical Specification), harmonized across different platforms
and regions, according to Company standards.
- Definition and development of DFMEA documents for each assigned function, according to Company standards.
- Definition of required interface communication and submission of requests (CCR) to Network team.
- Review (RAR/eRAR) and release of requirements (RCN/ACR/DCR) to corresponding stakeholders followed by subsequent resolution of stakeholders’ issues and concerns.Deployment and functional allocation of such requirements at components level (SW architecture).
- Support for Controls, SW Verification, Validation and Calibration development activities.
- Support for PT Calibration/Application & System Integration teams for 2nd level troubleshooting.
- Resolution of issues (PITS/GIMS) for the assigned feature/sub-system within Company defined timing requirements.
- Technical point-of-contact for the assigned feature for all internal and external team.
- Participation in advanced development projects for assigned feature/sub-system.
- Participation in Agile ceremonies for the team including DRP Sprint activities.
**Desirable Qualifications**:
- Master of Science in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or related Engineering field from an ABET accredited university.
- Propulsion system experience/ exposure or training.
- Experience using SysML.
- Experience in using INCA, Matlab, Simulink, DOORS, and Visio.
- Experience using CANalyzer or CANoe.
- Experience with communication networks (i.e. CAN, LIN, FlexRay etc).
