Job Description

Propulsion System Physical Architecture Engineer

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Propulsion Systems Architecture Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, he/she will collaborate with stakeholders to understand vehicle features and components, and design advanced propulsion systems for new vehicles. The primary responsibility involves creating communication and electrical drawings, network topologies considering cost and time during the early engineering stage of the vehicle.

Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to gather insights and ensure seamless integration of propulsion systems.
  • Propulsion System Development: Apply engineering principles to develop reliable, efficient, and high-performance propulsion solutions. Lead meetings, listen to concerns, facilitate discussions, and present progress to leadership.
  • Network and Electrical Drawings: Generate accurate communication and system electrical drawings for various vehicle phases.
  • 12V Load Budget: Develop specifications for the 12V load budget to ensure electrical system safety and reliability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Electrical/Electronics/Automotive fields.
  • Understanding of engineering cost and time implications.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for automotive innovation.
  • Familiarity with Agile-Scrum, CAN, LIN components, and schematic creation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Leadership skills and motivation.
