Job Overview The Senior Business Analyst will have strong analytical skills to collect, organize, and translate business requirements into solution designs and technical requirements. Responsibilities Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. Analyzing system specifications and using diagramming tools to represent business and technical processes. Leading the analysis and business‑requirements gathering to develop detailed functional requirements and clearly state project scope. Translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications, ensuring clarity and feasibility. Working closely with technical teams to design and implement IT solutions that address business needs. Collaborating with business stakeholders and providing project management and business‑process analysis expertise while delivering support to the business. Conducting thorough testing and validation of solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements and quality standards. Reviewing test plans for regression and system execution. Creating user acceptance test plans when required. Managing change communication and coordinating end‑user training for system implementations. Assisting with portfolio activities and the creation of templates, process improvements, and frameworks for the Business Analyst team. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field. Experience in Life Sciences or the Pharmaceutical industry. Bachelor’s degree in Business Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent. Strong understanding of business‑analysis principles, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements, process modeling, and technical specification writing. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Experience working with cross‑functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence at all levels and collaborate with cross‑functional partners. Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and solve complex problems and provide documentation, guidance, and instruction to users.
